Established on 31st October 2007, TRAX was founded with a simple yet powerful mission: to prevent road crashes, reduce fatalities, and create safer roads for every road user in India.

The journey of TRAX started after a tragic two-wheeler crash witnessed by our founders, which left a lasting impact on them. The incident highlighted a harsh reality—behind every road crash statistic is a family whose life changes forever. What many see as an accident, we saw as a preventable loss.
Deeply affected by the consequences of road trauma, our founders decided to dedicate their lives to ensuring that no human life should experience such pain. This determination led to the formation of TRAX - A National Road Safety NGO on 31 October 2007, with a vision of making roads safer through awareness, behavioral change, safer infrastructure, and evidence-based road safety interventions.

Who We Are
TRAX is a National road safety NGO in India working across multiple states and union territories to address the growing road safety crisis. For more than 18 years, we have collaborated with government agencies, corporates, educational institutions, enforcement authorities, engineers, policymakers, media organizations, and communities to build a safer mobility ecosystem.
