Post-Crash Safety & First Response

Road safety does not end with crash prevention—it also depends on how quickly and effectively people respond when a road crash occurs. At TRAX, post-crash care is a key pillar of our road safety interventions. We work to strengthen the capacity of communities, drivers, and organizations by promoting emergency preparedness, equipping individuals with essential response skills, and encouraging timely assistance during the critical moments following a road crash. Our approach aligns with the Safe System Approach, recognizing that immediate and informed action can significantly reduce the severity of injuries and save lives.

Through various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives across India, TRAX has distributed Safety Kits to commercial drivers, fleet operators, transport workers, bystanders, volunteers, and other road users. These kits are designed to support immediate emergency response until professional medical assistance arrives. Alongside the distribution of safety kits, TRAX raises awareness on the importance of post-crash care, emergency reporting, scene safety, and responsible intervention, ensuring that road users are better prepared to respond during emergencies.

TRAX also conducts comprehensive First Responder Training Programmes for students, corporate employees, industrial workers, vendors, commercial drivers, fleet personnel, educational institutions, and community groups. These hands-on training sessions cover essential topics such as assessing an accident scene, ensuring personal safety, activating emergency services, controlling bleeding, providing basic first aid, managing trauma situations, and assisting victims without causing further harm. By creating a network of trained first responders across workplaces and communities, TRAX is helping build a culture where ordinary citizens are empowered to act confidently, provide immediate assistance, and contribute to saving lives during the golden hour after a road crash.
