Advocating for unobstructed 180-degree visibility at road intersections, median openings, curves, pedestrian crossings, and other critical conflict points to enhance road user safety. TRAX works closely with municipal authorities, highway agencies, and urban planning bodies to promote the implementation of relevant Indian Roads Congress (IRC) guidelines on vegetation management and roadside design. The initiative focuses on the timely trimming, relocation, and maintenance of trees, shrubs, hoardings, and other visual obstructions that restrict motorists’ and pedestrians’ line of sight. Through continuous advocacy, technical consultations, and field assessments, TRAX encourages safer road infrastructure that minimizes blind spots, improves reaction time, and significantly reduces the risk of preventable road crashes caused by poor visibility.
