TRAX has successfully designed and developed 5 Traffic Awareness Park Models that can be replicated across schools, cities, and communities across India. These innovative parks provide children with a practical and immersive road safety learning experience, helping them understand traffic rules, pedestrian safety, cycling safety, road signs, and responsible road user behavior in a real-world environment.
Developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), UNICEF India, state governments, educational institutions, and local authorities, these parks bridge the gap between classroom learning and practical road safety education. By creating interactive learning spaces, TRAX is helping reduce child road traffic injuries and fostering a lifelong culture of safe road behavior.
A flagship example is the Traffic Awareness Park at DPS Nacharam, Hyderabad, inaugurated by the Governor of Telangana and the State Transport Minister. Developed with the technical support of UNICEF India and TRAX, the park serves as a model for child road safety education, demonstrating how innovative infrastructure can create lasting behavioral change among young road users.
Through road safety engineering, behavioral science, and child-centric design, TRAX continues to create scalable solutions that empower children with the knowledge and skills needed to stay safe on roads.
